The shades of black and white are clearly defined. The sculptural form of the plant over powers the pot it is planted in and the background wall.

Mermaid

A divide between fantasy and reality is not always necessarily clear. My daughter is adamant that mermaids exist or may exist one day in the future. The letter to her is a definite possibility. She argues that in the past our bodily form could not have been pre-determined, and therefore it is reasonable to assume that we can't determine our future form.

Lyon Satolas - station's roof structure

Traditionally, railway stations unlike international airports in most major cities are designed in a conventional style. They can be identified as rectangular buildings on which a clock tower is mounted. Their presence is not widely advertised. In contrast Lyon Satolas TVG station's roof structure emulates a mechanical structure in the form of an alien bird. It's roof can be considered as a land mark, fit for airports, taking a highly sculptural form.
